rusty spotted sand margay desert cats

Black-footed Cat

We're proud to bring you pictures of some of the rarest small wild cats in the world. These pictures were kindly sent to ISEC Canada by Dr. Alex Sliwa of Germany, head researcher of the South African Black-footed Cat Research Project.

All pictures are strictly copyright to the photographer, and not to be used for commercial purposes.

You can help black-footed cat researchers learn more about these tenacious little wild cats.  This is a rare opportunity to contribute directly to the conservation of the smallest wild cat, and we urge you to participate. Help us understand what this tinest of wild cats needs to survive for future generations.
